Your vault is encrypted on your device before it’s stored, under a key that never leaves it. We can’t read it — not for support, not for a court.
Our promise behind the seal.
AES-256, on your phone. Every section and every document in your vault is encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM before it’s stored, each under its own key.
Your password, strengthened 600,000 times. Your keys are locked with your password using PBKDF2-SHA256 at 600,000 iterations, the setting OWASP currently recommends. We store your key only in that locked form.
Face ID, and your face stays with you. Unlock with a passkey. Your biometric never leaves your phone; we only ever see a public key.
Proven cryptography only. NESA uses the audited cryptography built into your device, not code we wrote ourselves.
Protected on the way, too. Everything NESA sends travels over TLS.
A recovery key only you hold. Forget your password, and your recovery key gets you back in. Lose your phone, and nothing is lost: your vault was never stored on it. Lose both your password and your recovery key, and no one can open your vault — not you, not us. That’s what a key we don’t hold means.
Nothing worth stealing. NESA never stores card numbers, bank log-ins or biometrics. Anywhere.
Independently reviewed. NESA is undergoing audits by the external security reviewers monthly.

Password managers
They keep your logins. In an emergency, the most they offer is a printed recovery kit, or one person who sees your entire vault after a waiting period.
NESA keeps the instructions for your life (your medications, the dog’s routine, where the key is), and each person sees only their part.
Estate-planning apps
They open after you die. Access starts with a death report or a death certificate.
NESA is built for the day you’re alive and can’t act: in the hospital, unconscious, or out of reach.
