Terms of Use
1. What these terms are
These terms apply to the NESA waitlist page at GetNESA.com and to joining the waitlist. By using the page or submitting the form, you agree to them. They are deliberately short, because at this stage we are offering very little: a place on a list.
2. NESA is in development
NESA is not an operating service. There is no vault, no coordinator, no disclosure rules running, and nobody is being monitored. The landing page describes what NESA is designed to do when it is built — not what it does today. Nothing on that page should be read as a statement that a service currently exists or is protecting you.
3. This is not an emergency service
NESA does not contact emergency services, does not dispatch help, and does not alert anyone on your behalf. It will not do so when it launches either — NESA is designed to release information you have chosen, to people you have named, after an event has been verified. It is not a medical alert system and it is not a substitute for one.
If you are in an emergency, call your local emergency number.
4. What joining the waitlist does
Joining the waitlist means we will email you when founding-member access opens. That is the whole of it. It does not create an account, reserve a place, or form a contract for any service. We may not be able to offer access to everyone on the list, and we may open access in stages or in particular cities first.
5. Founding-member pricing
The landing page describes a founding-member price of $99 per year, described as locked “forever”. We intend to honor that price for people who join from the waitlist and subscribe when access opens, for as long as their subscription remains continuously active. Pricing, features and availability are not yet final, and if anything material changes before launch we will tell you before asking you to pay anything.
6. Your information
What we collect and what we do with it is set out in the Waitlist Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: a name, an email address, a date of birth and a city, used to tell you when access opens and to check you are old enough to be on the list, deleted whenever you ask.
Please do not send us medical information, emergency contacts, addresses or account details through this form. It is not built for them.
7. Acceptable use
Please do not submit other people’s details without their permission, submit false information, attempt to interfere with the page or the form, or use automated means to submit entries. We may remove any entry we believe breaches this section.
8. Our content
The NESA name, logo, page design and copy belong to us. You are welcome to share a link to the page. Please do not reproduce the material as your own.
9. No warranties
The page is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we do not promise that NESA will launch, launch on any particular timetable, or launch with any particular feature described on the page.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the waitlist page or from reliance on any description of a service that does not yet exist. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes
We may update these terms as NESA develops. The date at the top will change. If we change anything significant, we will email the waitlist.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by State of Delaware and the courts of the State of Delaware, have exclusive jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy
The short version. You are joining a waitlist. We ask for a first name, an email address, a date of birth and a city. We use them to email you when founding-member access opens, and the date of birth to check you are over 18. We do not sell your information, we do not advertise to you, and we do not share your details with anyone except the service that stores the form entry for us. You can ask us to delete everything at any time by writing to privacy@getnesa.com.
1. Who we are
NESA is a product being developed by Interim Adult, Inc., A Delaware Corporation (“we”, “us”). This policy applies to the NESA waitlist page at GetNESA.com and to nothing else.
2. What this policy does and does not cover
This policy covers only the waitlist page. NESA — the vault, the coordinator, the disclosure rules — is in development and is not yet available. No vault exists, no personal records are held, and nothing is being monitored. When NESA becomes an operating service it will have its own, considerably longer, privacy policy, and we will not migrate your information into it without telling you first.
3. What we collect
3.1 Information you give us
- Email address — required. This is the only field we need.
- First name — optional. Used so we can address you properly.
- Date of birth — optional. Used to check you are over 18, because the waitlist is not open to children.
- City — optional. Used to understand where our early interest is concentrated, because the closed beta will open in one city first.
That is the entire form. There are no other fields.
3.2 What we ask you not to give us
Please do not enter medical information, medication lists, emergency contacts, addresses, account numbers or any other sensitive detail into the waitlist form. It is not built to hold that kind of information and we do not want it. If you send it to us anyway, we will delete it.
3.3 Information collected automatically
We do not run analytics, advertising trackers or third-party marketing pixels on this page, and we do not set cookies of our own. Two things nevertheless happen automatically and you should know about them:
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is served — IP address, browser type, time of request — as every web server does. We do not use these logs to build a profile of you.
- Web fonts. The page loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Doing so sends your IP address to Google, who provide the fonts. This happens when the page loads, before you type anything.
- Browser storage. The page stores a single flag in your browser’s session storage recording that you have already seen the opening screen, so you are not shown it twice. It contains no personal information, is not a cookie, and disappears when you close the tab.
4. Why we collect it, and on what basis
We collect this information to contact you when founding-member access opens, to answer you if you write to us, and — in the case of your date of birth — to check that you are old enough to be on the list. We do not use it for any other purpose.
Where the UK or EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You may withdraw that consent at any time, and doing so is as easy as replying to any email we send or writing to privacy@getnesa.com.
5. Who else handles your information
We use service providers to run the page and store form submissions. They act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
- Netlify — hosts the page and receives and stores waitlist form submissions on our behalf.
- Amazon Web Services — provides the underlying infrastructure our hosting runs on.
- Google — supplies the web fonts the page displays, as described above.
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or partners. If we are ever legally compelled to disclose it, we will tell you unless we are prohibited from doing so.
6. Where your information is held
Our providers store data on servers in the United States. If you are writing to us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred there.
7. How long we keep it
We keep your details until founding-member access opens and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first. If NESA does not launch, we will delete the waitlist. If you tell us you are no longer interested, we will delete your entry rather than keep it on file.
8. Your rights
Whatever jurisdiction you are in, you can ask us to:
- tell you what we hold about you;
- correct it if it is wrong;
- delete it;
- send you a copy in a portable format;
- stop contacting you.
We will not charge you, we will not ask why, and we will not make it difficult. We aim to respond within thirty days.
If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your national supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you rights of access and deletion, and a right to know whether your information has been sold or shared — it has not been, and we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined.
9. Security
Waitlist submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored by our hosting provider with access restricted to the small number of people who need it. This is a short list of names and email addresses, and we protect it accordingly. It is worth being plain: this is ordinary commercial security for an ordinary mailing list, and it is a different thing from the zero-knowledge architecture NESA itself is being built on.
10. Children
The waitlist is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. The form asks for a date of birth for that reason; it is not checked at the moment you submit, so if an entry turns out to belong to someone under 18 we delete it rather than keep it. If you believe a child has submitted their details, write to us and we will remove them.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how the waitlist works, we will update this policy and change the date at the top. If the change is significant — a new purpose, a new recipient, a new category of information — we will email everyone on the list rather than rely on you noticing.
12. Contact
Write to privacy@getnesa.com for anything covered by this policy, including deletion requests.
